Autoshop Solutions, a Vehlo company, is an internet marketing agency dedicated to creating impactful websites and engagingmarketing solutions to drive business for the automotive industry. We use deep industry knowledge and cutting-edge methodologies in search engine advertising, content creation and social media, combined with analytics and platforms.
Vehlo is on a mission to automate and accelerate the vehicle repair industry with software and payment solutions designed to help auto service teams acquire, service and retain lifelong customers. Their customers are auto repair and collision locations as well as new and used dealerships, where they provide management systems, payment services, communications tools, scheduling modules as well as accounting and finance packages. They operate in a high-growth, high-performance environment, growing +25% YoY.
What will you work on?
- Develop and implement web applications
- Plan, scope, and execute product development roadmap
- Maintain custom WordPress Plugins
What skills and experience are we looking for?
- Extensive hands-on experience with the LAMP stack:
- Linux, Apache/nginx, MySQL, PHP and Laravel
- HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript frameworks and tools
- Vue, React, or Angular
- Strong knowledge and experience with WordPress:
- WordPress Rest API
- Writing Custom Hooks and Filters
- Advanced Custom Fields
- Gravity Forms
- Familiarity with Node.js and JavaScript development
- Solid understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
Are there any other requirements?
- 5+ years of experience suggested
- Fully remote position, but you must be able to work at least 6-8 hours in US time zones
